EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE HEALTH INSURANCE TO EMPLOYEE & HIS FAMILY FROM THE BEGINNING OF SIGNING THE CONTRACT

The Council of Cooperative Health Insurance confirmed that the employer is obliged to provide medical insurance to the employee and his family from the beginning of signing the contract through the trial period which extends for 3 months. The Board noted that the private sector was obliged to insure the employee, his wife and children up to the age of 25 years, unmarried and non-working daughters, while the newborn was covered by his mother's document until he was hospitalized.
