The digital economy in Saudi Arabia is worth more than SR495 billion, or almost 15% of GDP. On May 17, which is World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, a report came to light revealing this.
The kingdom's position as the top technology market in the Middle East was further solidified in 2024 when the telecommunications and information technology market had record growth of over SR180 billion. Greater innovation and private sector investment fueled this development.

With the help of its digital human capabilities program, Saudi Arabia has become a regional powerhouse for digital talent, creating more than 381,000 high-quality jobs in the IT industry.
