The Line 3 (Orange Line), which passes along Madinah Road, would link Riyadh's east and west. It stretches for 41 km, beginning at Jeddah Road in the west and ending at the second eastern ring road next to the Khashm Al-Aan area in the east.

With this, the six lines that make up the Riyadh Metro network have finally gone live, as planned during the project's inauguration by King Salman, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, on November 27, 2024.

The RCRC announced in a statement that the Orange Line will begin welcoming passengers at five stations at 6:00 am on Sunday: Jeddah Road, Tuwaiq, Douh, Harun Al-Rashid Road, and Al-Naseem, which is also a transfer station between the Orange Line and the Purple Line.

The commission also made an announcement regarding the opening of three new stations on the Blue Line, Al-Morooj, Bank Al-Bilad, and King Fahd Library, that link Olaya Street to Batha. Most Viewed: 45% increase in salary of Saudis in private sector

With all six lines of the Riyadh Metro network running, the city's transportation options will be better for residents as well as visitors. From 6 am until midnight, Riyadh Metro will be available to users.
