Hajj Ministry sets 15th Dhul Qadah as last date for expiry of Umrah visa


The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia announced that the expiry date for Umrah visas of international pilgrims is 15th Dhul Qadah and it will be the last day for them to enter into Saudi Arabia. Trending : Benefits of fasting 6 days after Ramadan 30 days



The ministry explained that the purpose of moving the expiration date of the Umrah visa from Dhul Qadah 29 to Dhul Qadah 15 is to facilitate the uninterrupted flow of pilgrims from around the world to the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah for the yearly Hajj pilgrimage.

- Additionally, the ministry announced that the three-month Umrah visa's validity will start from the date of issuance rather than the previously authorized date of entry into Saudi Arabia. In response to multiple questions posted on its X platform, the ministry provided clarification on this matter. Follow Saudi Expatriates on X

- In accordance with the coordination between the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ministry emphasized that the validity of the Umrah visa is three months from the date of issuance, provided that it expires no later than Dhul Qadah 15.
