To issue or cancel Final Exit visa, iqama must be valid

Earlier this, the General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) said that the worker's passport had to be valid for at least 60 days before they could give him a final exit visa from the Kingdom.

Recently, Saudi Jawazat announced that a final exit visa for a worker is free of charge through Jawazat e-services in Absher or Muqeem platform.

- Once the Final Exit Visa is issued, it is valid for 60 days. If the worker fails to depart from the Kingdom by the end of that time, he or she will have to pay a 1000 riyal fine.

Expatriate workers who are outside of the Kingdom cannot change their exit re-entry visa into a final exit visa.

- Employer is still responsible for a worker even issued them a final exit visa. This is because the worker is still in his system.
