Saudi Arabia wins bid to host World Expo 2030 with 119 votes


Riyadh has won the bid to host World Expo 2030, with a huge 119 votes in the first round of voting in Paris, which is a historic victory. These decision were made after Saudi Arabia, Italy, and Korea showed their final plans to a group of 182 countries that voted secretly for the host city.

- Saudi Arabia got 119 votes, Korea got 29 votes and Italy got 17 votes, with zero abstentions. BIE Member States elect Saudi Arabia as host country of World Expo 2030.
