Saudi Arabia continues to receive its nationals, and citizens of friendly and brotherly nationals in Jeddah from Sudan


13 Saudi citizens arrived in Jeddah this morning as part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's continued efforts, as directed by its wise leadership, to evacuate its citizens as well as citizens of allied and friendly nations from the Republic of Sudan to the Kingdom. Arab nationals and the foreigners who entered into the Kingdom from Sudan included the nationals of countries like Oman, Syria, Libya, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Mauritania, Yemen, USA, Canada, Germany, UK, Switzerland, Ireland, France, Netherlands, Armenia, Hungary, Sweden and Turkey. - The arrival also includes the nationals from Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, Djibouti, Cape Verde, Congo, Madagascar, Ivory Coast, Somalia, South Africa, Botswana, Malawi, Croatia, Nicaragua, Liberia, South Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, Philippines, Afghanistan, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, Chad, Bangladesh, Niger, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

- The number of people evacuated from Sudan since the evacuations began has reached about 2148 (114 Saudi citizens and 2034 people from 62 different nationalities), and they were transported via one of the Kingdom's ships. The Kingdom was keen to provide for all of the basic needs of foreign nationals in preparation for facilitating their departure to their countries.

- During their arrival, those in charge of the evacuation process in the Kingdom received the citizens upon their arrival with flowers and sweets, as part of the Saudi evacuation process.
