Received request to extend Umrah visas for sick cases and making necessary extension - Jawazat


The Deputy Director General of Passports announced that it has received requests to extend Umrah visas from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for sick cases and the Jawazat is making the necessary extension to them. See Also : King Salman orders more Eid Al-Fitr holidays for students







The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah restated that it is not possible to modify the date of issued Umrah permit and the solution to this is to cancel the permit 6 hours before the specified date in the permit through Eatmarna application and reserve a new permit. - The Ministry also clarified that non-vaccinated people are allowed to pray in the Two Holy Mosques and to issue Umrah permit through Eatmarna application, they must not be infected or not in contact with a person infected with corona virus.

- Earlier this, the Ministry stated that the pilgrim coming from abroad has the freedom to move between Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Madina Al-Munawarrah and all the cities of the Kingdom during their stay.





- Meanwhile, the commander of the Umrah Security Forces, Major General Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Basami called on all Umrah companies to cooperate with the security authorities and inform the pilgrims of the need to stick to the appointment dates and follow the guidance and instructions of managing and organizing pedestrians.

- He confirmed the readiness of the Ministry of Interior and its security departments to maintain the security and safety of pilgrims and visitors during the last 10 days of the Ramadan to spend spiritual and reassuring times in the Two Holy Mosques.
