Working hours during Ramadan for Private sector, Schools and Training Institutes in Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia set working hours for the private sector companies during the holy month of Ramadan.







The Human Resources ministry in its statement on Twitter stated that, the working hours for the private sector during the blessed month of Ramadan are 6 hours for the current year 2022 (1443) and may God accept fasting and doing good deeds from everyone.

- The ministry added that, this is based on the Article 98 of Saudi Labor Law, which states that working hours in the private sector will be 6 working hours per day. Trending : Saudi Supreme court calls for sighting Ramadan crescent on Friday

School hours during Ramadan for this year 2022 :

The Ministry of Education confirmed that private and public schools will remain open during Ramadan 2022, and will begin between 9 AM or 10 AM, depending on each school, as per the flexible system, each lesson will last a total of 35 minutes.





- For Universities and High schools, the classes will begin at 9 AM and will end as per the academic schedule for each grade stage.

Working hours for Technical and Vocational training facilities during Ramadan :

- Meanwhile, The General Administration of Technical and Vocational Training in Tabuk and Northern Borders confirmed that the official working hours in all training facilities for the month of Ramadan will be 5 working hours, with the start of morning training for trainees at 10 AM in the morning until 3 PM in the evening.




- The administration added that, the time of the training lecture does not exceed 35 minutes, with regard to evening application program, the start of training in evening will be from 9:30 PM in the evening.

- This comes in line with the directives issued by the Foundation aiming to take into account the times of trainees of the establishments, and to allow them to provide their training services at the times that suit male and female trainees of colleges of technology and secondary industrial institutes during the blessed month.
