A Worker can be terminated only with unanimous decision of Probe Panel

According to the executive regulation of Job Discipline Law in Saudi Arabia, a worker can be terminated from service, as part of disciplinary measures, which will be based on a unanimous decision of the committee that has been constituted to investigate the charges against the employee. As per the executive regulations, there should be a 4 member probe committee, including a chairman and 3 members, including a representative from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD).

- The probe committee can investigate into the complaints against the worker through online or remotely. The employee who is facing charges can be informed in detail about the disciplinary violations assigned to him and will listen to his clarifications in this regard. - The regulation also specified that the panel shall submit its report to the minister within a period not exceeding 3 months from the date of referring the disciplinary violation to it. However, The worker is entitled to appeal against the committee's decision.

- The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi approved the executive regulations of the Job Discipline Law, which was approved through Council of Minister in last year's September.
