Saudi Arabia allows entry of Sinopharm and Sinovac vaccinated people after Booster dose


Saudi Arabia to allow entry of travelers who were vaccinated with Sinopharm or Sinovac vaccines after they received a booster dose from one of the 4 approved vaccines in Kingdom, as per the Saudi e-visa portal.







As of now, Saudi Arabia has approved 4 vaccines for travelers entering into Kingdom and they are Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna and Johnson and Johnson vaccine.

- Travelers who have completed 2 doses of Sinopharm or Sinovac vaccines will now be accepted if they have received 1 additional dose of anyone of the four approved vaccine, reveals the Ministry of Tourism on its electronic visa website. - Saudi Arabia started allowing fully vaccinated tourists into the Kingdom from 1st August, 2021. However, travelers must provide a negative PCR certificate taken within 72 hours of departure, including an approved vaccination certificate from health officials of home country.





- There is no quarantine for vaccinated travelers in Saudi Arabia states the Ministry. Citizens of 49 countries can apply for e-visa on the visit Saudi portal.

- Travelers entering on a previously issued tourist visa need to pay additional fee of 40 riyals at Saudi airport to cover the insurance for any covid-19 related medical expenses. Recommend : Hajj ministry clarifies on registering for Umrah on Tourist visa
