Ministry of Health allows Granting Annual vacations to its Employees working to confront Corona 


The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia issued a directive on the possibility of granting annual vacations to employees working in the face of the Corona virus pandemic from health staff and administrators in hospitals, health centers, supervisory departments and vaccination centers, after the decision to postpone their vacations until further notice. The directives included the possibility of granting annual vacations from the date of the decision, as per the regulations in force, with a system that does not exceed 20% of the workforce, stating that the authorities guarantee work coverage and that the health service provided is not affected, with an importance on not granting an exit and re-entry visa to the suspended countries, traveling due to the coronavirus outbreak. - Today (on 24th August), Saudi Arabia confirmed 353 new Corona infections, 456 new recoveries and 7 deaths bringing the total infections in the Kingdom to 542,707 of which 529,833 recovered with 8,497 deaths.





- Active cases of Covid-19 in the Kingdom drops to 4,377 of which 1,108 are critical. In the last 24 hours, the health ministry conducted 68,962 corona tests, so far more than 27 million (27,029,294) Corona tests.

- Saudi Arabia has provided more than 34.79 million (34,792,963) doses of Corona vaccine all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers, of which 21,617,429 doses are first doses, 13,175,534 people received two doses, while elderly people received 1,574,855 doses.
