No infections of Corona virus among Hajj Pilgrims so far - Ministry of Health


The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced that no cases of Corona virus infections have been recorded among Hajj pilgrims so far.







During a press conference, the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Mohammad Al Abdal Ali confirmed that the preparation of specialized teams in field ambulances to provide services to Hajj pilgrims, the ministry has highly efficient procedures and precautions to protect pilgrims health.

- He added that, Delta mutant of Corona virus is worrying in the world, due to its rapid spread and its impact on the infected. He highlighted that the Ministry is keen to make sure the Hajj is free of any epidemic. Most Viewed : Fasting on the day of Arafat expiates sins of two years

- Today, Saudi Arabia reports 1,055 new Corona cases, 1,143 new recoveries and 12 deaths in the last 24 hours, bringing the total infections to 509,576 of which 490,696 recovered with 8.075 deaths.





- The Active corona cases of the Kingdom further drops to 10,805 of which 1,420 are critical and are in intensive cares. In the last 24 hours, Saudi Arabia has done 93,470 Covid-19 tests and 23,738,413 tests so far since the beginning of the pandemic.

- The Kingdom government has provided more than 22.59 million (22,590,379) doses of Corona Vaccine all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers. In which first doses are 18,441,540 and second doses are 4,148,839, while elder people received 1,418,310 doses of the vaccine against Covid-19.
