No Customs duty on Personal belongings of Value 3,000 Saudi Riyals or Less - Saudi Customs


Saudi Customs announced that travelers personal belongings whose worth is less than 3,000 Saudi Riyals would be exempted from custom duties, however, they need to pay 15% VAT (Valued Added Tax) on imported goods, this came in response to an inquiry on the official Saudi Customs Twitter account.

- Personal belongings of Saudi students, who are studying under the Foreign Scholarship Program, will be exempted from custom duties at the end of their studies or at the end of work abroad after submitting related documents of it.
