 Earthquake measuring 3.19 on Richter scale was detected in Jazan's north


The spokesperson for the Geological Survey in Saudi Arabia, Tariq Aba Al-Khail, confirmed through his official Twitter account that, the stations of  national network at the National Center for Earthquakes and Volcanoes of the Saudi Geological Survey detected an earthquake at 11:53 pm on, Sunday.



An earthquake measuring 3.19 on the Richter scale at a depth of 2.45 km away, and it is 7 km south of Al Shuqaiq Governorate, in the Jazan region. Recommend : Turn on Front and Rear lights during low visibility announces Road safety

- As per the Sources, this earthquake did not result in any damage, thank God, and that it was relatively far from the range of residential neighborhoods of Jazan.

- The National Earthquakes and Volcanoes Centers affiliated to the Geological Survey are monitoring, with modern electronic monitoring devices, the conditions in the vicinity of the earthquake that occurred during the past hours, south of Al-Shuqaiq Center in Al-Darb Governorate in the Jizan region.

- To find out any accompanying aftershocks that may occur later, God forbid, but they are usually Weak and not accompanied by any effects or damages after the first and foremost, and that life in these sites is going in its usual way, and this matter does not cause any concern at all, as stated.
