 Extending the Validity of PCR test to 72 Hours for those coming to Saudi Arabia


A royal order was issued to extend the period of submitting a negative PCR test issued by an approved health abroad, The test should be less than 72 hours old instead of 48 hours at the moment of arrival of expatriates (Non-Saudis) at the border of Saudi Arabia.




The decision applies to all expats coming to Saudi Arabia, with the exception of children below 8 years, as the regulations of the country of origin are observed in their examination.

- The General Authority of Civil Aviation informed all government agencies, national and foreign airlines and ground handling companies at Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport, based on the directive received from the Undersecretary of the Health Ministry for Public Health reports News 24.

- Some airlines operating in the Kingdom informed their customers of the contents of the Civil Aviation Authority's circular in this regard.
