Saudi Arabia imposes Curfew from 3 PM in Dammam, Qatif and Taif from Friday (3rd April 2020)

The Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia imposes the Curfew in Dammam city and in the governorates of Qatif and Taif from 3 PM instead of 7 PM starting from Friday (3rd April 2020) until further notice  as part of the measures to combat with the spread of Coronavirus in the Kingdom. Trending : 24 hours Curfew in two Holy cities of Makkah and Madina until further notice




The Ministry said there will be some exemptions for some private and public sectors such as Security, Military, Media and those wo work in health services are excluded from the Curfew in Dammam, Qatif and Taif. - Last month Saudi Arabia imposed lock down to the Qatif with temporary suspension of entries and exits into the region and then it was extended from Saihat district in the south to Safwa in the north region of the Kingdom.




- Earlier this, The Kingdom imposes 24 hours of curfew in the Two Holy cities of Makkah and Madina after the total number of coronavirus cases reached to 1885 with 21 deaths, which was highest in the GCC countries.

- While Riyadh was already in Curfew from 3 PM from last month and Jeddah curfew from 3 PM from last week. See Also : Curfew advanced in Jeddah from 3 PM instead of 7 PM from 29th March
