King Salman orders to suspend Execution of Judicial rulings relating Prison sentences in Debt cases

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has issued a royal decree stating a temporary stop to prison sentences for individuals in private cases of unpaid debts.




The King ordered to suspend the execution of final judgement and orders related to the imprisonment of the debtors with immediate temporary release of the prisoners from detention who already served time for debt related convictions.

- The Saudi Arabia's King also suspended the implementation of final rulings and judicial orders related to enabling children to visit one of the separated parents till the date of announcement of the committee that the Coronavirus pandemic is no longer poses a risk to public health.




- The Justice Minister, President of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary confirmed that the arrest warrants were lifted immediately and the related authorities was notified to follow the order. The rulings of seeing and visiting of children were suspended electronically and the parties were notified by a text message about it.
