FOUNDATION STONE LAID FOR THE FIRST HINDU TEMPLE IN ABU DHABI
The first traditional Hindu Temple foundation stone has been laid in the capital city Abu Dhabi of United Arab Emirates. Trending : Indian arrested for insulting Kaaba image
The temple to be built in many phases with all pink stones and marbles which will be transported from Indian state Rajasthan to Abu Dhabi.
- All the stones of the temple will be hand carved by Indian artisans and then it will be transported to UAE's capital city and once completed, this is going to be the first traditional Hindu stone temple in the Middle East. Recommend : Few Unknown facts of India
- The Shilanyas Vidhi ceremony was presided over by the spiritual leader of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha 'Mahant Swami Maharaj', The religious and social organisation building the temple.
- The ceremony started with rituals led by Pujya Ishwacharan Swami, Sanskrit verses filled the air as Swamis described to their devotees how each ritual had to be conducted. See Also : Check Umrah visa fee by entering passport number
- Ater the ceremony completed, The foundation stone was laid by BAPS Hindu Mandir committee head with their priests and community leader B.R. Shetty. There were nearly 50 priests who had come from India to be part of this ceremonies.
