Visit Visa for Umrah electronically in less than 24 hours and its Extension is up to 3 months -  Minister of Hajj and Umrah


The Minister of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah announced the launching of an e-service to apply for Umrah visa directly for individual Umrah pilgrims from outside the Kingdom. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Twitter







They can choose all the services electronically such as accommodation, transportation and others when heading to Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

- The Minister added that the Umrah visa will be issued within less than 24 hours and its period has been extended from 1 to 3 months without restrictions on pilgrims. As the person coming from Umrah can move between Saudi regions without restrictions, stating that the ministry will continue to do everything that contributes to developing and enriching the experience. - Al-Rabiah added that, applications for Umrah visas can be submitted from outside Saudi Arabia, away from Umrah campaigns. He said the Saudi Vision 2030 aims to facilitate the reception of Umrah pilgrims in large numbers.





- During the conference, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah highlighted that digital services are essential part of developing the service of all Umrah pilgrims and worshippers. Among the services launched during the corona pandemic period is Eatmarna application, which aims to organize the performance of Umrah and enter the Rawdah Al-Sharifa and contributed significantly to the optimal distribution of pilgrims.

- He continued stating that, we are working on the NESC platform, which is a complete platform that enriches the digital experience, and it is one of the upcoming projects that we are working on and will contribute to enriching the experience, improving and upgrading the service. - Regarding Hajj season, the Minister said this year Hajj season to host 1 million pilgrims, with the aim of ensuring their safety from pandemic and ensuring the quality of services and their safe return to their home countries.
