Saudi Arabia records 15% increase in recruitment of Domestic workers, These are the most importing countries
Saudi Arabia has registered a 15% increase in the number of domestic labor recruitments in the 4th quarter of the year 2021, as per the data available on Musaned platform of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
Musaned is a platform dedicated to the recruitment of house workers. The number of countries available for recruitment through Musaned platform increased to more than 14 countries. The platform is working to add more new countries for recruitment in the current year 2022.

- The Musaned platform indicated that contracts for the recruitment of domestic workers recorded an increase during the 4th quarter of the last year, In October, it amounted to 65,000 contracts, and rose in November to more than 69,000 contracts, and then exceeded in December the ceiling of 76,000 contracts, to record a continuous increase in the number of recruitment contracts at the end of the year 2021.
- Bangladesh topped the list of countries with the most contracts for the recruitment of domestic workers through the Musaned platform during the month of December of the year 2021, with more than 12,000 contracts, while Pakistan came in 2nd place with more than 11,000 contracts, and then India with about 11,000 contracts. The latter recorded a high turnout in issuing contracts compared to the months of October and November.
- Prior to that, especially in November, Philippines recorded 13,000 contracts, then Bangladesh with 13,000 contracts, and then Egypt with more than 9,000 contracts, while in October, the total recruitment contracts from the Philippines amounted to 13,000 contracts then Bangladesh with more than 11,000 contracts, and Uganda with more than 10,000 contracts, with 3rd place.
