Health ministry announces Isolation and Recovery period of Corona infected people, for Vaccinated and non-Vaccinated
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced, an update on the recovery period for those infected with the Coronavirus for the Vaccinated and the non-vaccinated, highlighting the initiative to take the due dose to prevent the symptoms of severe infection.
Isolation and Recovery period for Vaccinated people :
The Ministry of Health said that the isolation and recovery period for the fully vaccinated people is 7 days after infection, and the immune status case will be updated in the “Tawakkalna” application after this recovery period. Isolation and Recovery period for non-Vaccinated people :
- For the non-vaccinated people, the recovery period is 10 days after the infection, and the Immune status will be updated in the Tawakkalna application after the mentioned recovery period.
No need to take Swab corona test after recovery period :
- The Ministry of Health also explained that, it does not require a swab after the recovery period, while studies indicate that vaccination limits the reproduction of the virus and reduces the infection period between 5 to 7 days, in the vast majority of immunized people.
