Saudi Arabia issues decisions in Saudization of Marketing and Admin support jobs


The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development of Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Suleiman Al-Rajhi issued two decisions to localize the marketing and admin support professions, in order to allow the sons and daughters of the country to find suitable job opportunities for them and raise the level of their participation in the national economy.







The decision to nationalize marketing professions at a rate of 30% is applied to all private sector establishments in which 5 or more workers work in marketing professions, in continuation of the Ministry’s efforts to provide an appropriate and refreshing work environment for male and female citizens, and to expand their participation in the labor market.

- The decision came to localize work in these professions for Saudi nationals in private sector establishments, with a minimum salary for calculating the Saudization percentage at 5,500 riyals. See Also : Saudization of real estate and cinema professions

- The decision will come into force from 1st April, 2022 AD, and will provide more than 12,000 jobs for male and female Saudi citizens.





- The marketing professions that will cover under the new Saudization decision includes, Manager, Marketing Specialist, Advertising and Public Relations Manager, Marketing Sales Expert, Advertising Designer and Commercial Advertising Photographer.

- The ministry issued a procedural guide detailing the decision and the mechanisms necessary for its implementation to make sure the compliance of the establishments, highlighting the application of penalties against the violating establishments.
