Second dose of Corona vaccine is important for 3 reasons - Ministry of Health
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia highlighted the importance of taking the second dose and urgency with it, by stating the reasons, as it is the only way to confront corona variants, to raise the level of immunity and to activate it after the first dose, explaining that, it is important to achieve community immunity. The Ministry of Health advised everyone to communicate with 937 Center for consultations and inquiries around the clock, to receive health information and services, and to know the developments of the Corona virus.
- Today, Saudi Arabia records 174 new Corona infections, 202 recoveries and 5 deaths in the last 24 hours, bringing the total infections to 544,985 of which 533,632 recovered with 8,565 deaths. - Active cases of Covid-19 in the Kingdom drops to 2,788 of which 803 are critical and are in intensive cares, In the last 24 hours, Saudi Arabia has performed 59,355 corona tests, so far the health ministry has provided 27,620,409 Corona tests, since the beginning of the pandemic.
- Saudi Arabia has provided more than 37.64 million (37,648,993) doses of Corona vaccine all over the Kingdom to its citizens, resident expats and visitors through its 587 vaccination centers.
- The Ministry of Health statistics revealed that, of the total doses, 22,343,031 people received their first dose, while 15,305,962 people received two doses of the vaccine and the elderly people received 1,600,803 doses of vaccine against Corona virus.
