Second dose of Corona Vaccine is important to combat Covid-19 mutations - Ministry of Health


The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia confirmed that the second dose of the Corona vaccine is important for the continuous of immunity and to combat the virus, calling on everyone to take the two doses of the vaccine to raise protection against severe infection with the mutation of Corona. Saudi government has provided more than 26.3 million (26,307,683) doses of the vaccine against Corona virus so far to its citizens, resident expatriates and visitors all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers.

- The Ministry of Health official statistics shows it has given more than 18.58 million (18,586,046) first doses and 7.7 million (7,721,631) second doses, of the total doses elderly people received about 1.45 million (1,457,528) doses. - Yesterday, Saudi Arabia recorded 1,289 new corona infections, 1,299 recoveries and 12 deaths brining the total infections in the Kingdom to 523,397 of which 503,827 recovered with 8,212 deaths.





- Active cases of the Covid-19 in the Kingdom stands at stable 11,358 of which 1,395 are critical and receiving treatment in intensive cares of the medical facilities and hospitals. Riyadh tops in the list with 1,321 active cases, Jeddah with 642 while Taif with 534.

- Yesterday, Saudi Arabia had tested more than 117,620 covid-19 tests and more than 24.8 million (24,800,706) corona tests so far in the Kingdom since the beginning of the pandemic. Most Viewed : Now First dose of the Corona vaccine is available after the 10 days of corona infection

- The health ministry advised everyone to contact the 937 Center for Consultations and Inquiries around the clock, to get health information and services, and to know the latest developments of the Corona virus.
