All Public Sector Employees will return to work starting Next Week - Ministry of HR

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia confirmed that starting from 11th Muharram 1442 (11/01/1442), All public sector employees will return to work at the green precautionary levels by a commitment of following preventive protocols. The Minister of HR, Ahmed Al Rajhi specified a number of conditions in order to return of all employees to their workplaces, for employees to continue to attend as per the flexible hours, to continue to suspend fingerprints and continue to work of the groups mostly at risk by remote infection, as per the classification of National Center for Disease Prevention and Control.

- The Ministry allowed the head of the government department to apply remote work for a number of employees, provided their percentage does not exceed 25% of the total employees, provided that the entity enables those who work remotely to perform their duties. - However, they must submit a medical report stating their condition, Among them are those who are over the age of 65 years and those with chronic lung disease, severe asthma, heart disease, hereditary or acquired immunodeficiency, obesity, uncontrolled diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney failure and cirrhosis.





- Earlier, The Ministry of Human Resources allowed the return of government sector employees to work by 50% as of 8th Shawwal 1441, then the percentage increased to 75% on the 29th day of same month. See Also : Parents must vaccinated their children on time - Ministry of Health

- The flexible working hours system includes that employees attend the workplace in 3 groups as follows,
First group from 7:30 AM
Second group from 8:30 AM and the
Third group from 9 :30 AM
