A FILIPINO EXPAT GOT A CALL THAT HE WON 200,000 SAUDI RIYALS AMOUNT

A Filipino expat (Gabriel Tolentino) in Saudi Arabia got a call from some local telephone number, The called person told him that he just won an amount of 200,000 Saudi Riyals. Recommend : Filipinos stopped at airport for having debts

We are glad to know that our blog reader 'Gabriel Tolentino' responded him wisely and the called guy just got blanked with no answer. Everyone may not act wisely in that situation, He wants to inform our expatriates community to stay away from such scam or fraud call and do not fall in as victims, The below words are in our mail from Gabriel Tolentino. Related : Never ever buy sim card from outside, read how this guy faced problem

- Just a few minutes ago someone called me using his phone number 05XXXXXXXX telling me that i won 200,000.00 SAR and that they will transfer my won money to my bank account but before transfer of the money I have to send then the cost of the bank fees.

- I told them to first transfer the money I won before I pay the bank fees or deduct the bank fee from the money i won and send the remaining amount. The guy hangs up. See Also : Filipinos can now travel to 63 countries without visa

This is obviously a phone scam or fraud. Please check on this incidence and inform others so they do not fall victim to this phone scam.

Thank you.
