An expat with 4 women arrested for violating Hajj regulations


An individual from Ghana was detained by the Hajj Security Forces for trying to violate Hajj regulations and directives by transporting four female expatriates to Makkah. Trending: Four pilgrims arrived for Hajj on horseback from Europe to Saudi Arabia



The man, who was driving the bus, attempted to smuggle the women into the holy city without Hajj permits by hiding them in the luggage compartment.

The driver and passengers were caught by the security forces. They were then referred to the relevant committee to face legal consequences.

Hajj permit is the first and most important step to perform the Hajj pilgrimage :

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia stressed the importance of obtaining a Hajj permit for pilgrims, stating it is "the first and most important step in a pilgrim's journey."

"Obtaining a Hajj permit is the first and most important step in a pilgrim's journey. Without it, access to the holy sites becomes impossible, and performing the rituals becomes difficult," added the Hajj Ministry through its official social media platform X.
