It is prohibited to move vehicle from accident place except following cases in Saudi Arabia
The Public Prosecution in Saudi Arabia explained that the traffic system does not allow the driver to move his car from the accident place, If he is a party to it, he must stop it there. Trending : Penalty for non payment of Traffic fines on time in Saudi Arabia
The prosecution added that the system also calls the driver to provide possible assistance to the injured in the accident and prohibits replacement of the vehicle driver, who committed the accident or participated in it, as well as preventing the occurrence of a traffic accident under any way.
- Failure to do so will lead the driver under criminal accountability, the violator may face a imprisonment for a period of up to 3 months or a fine of up to 10,000 riyals or both. Read : Strict punishment for violation against domestic workers and elderly people
- The Public Prosecution said that the traffic system and its executive regulations allow to leave the vehicle from the accident site, if the accident was simple and one of them photographed the vehicles at the site of the accident and if the location of the vehicles involved in the accident constitutes danger to the public safety.
