How to Check Saudi Exit Re-Entry Visa Status Online in 2025
If you live in Saudi Arabia as an expatriate with an iqama (resident permit) and plan to travel abroad, you should always check your exit re-entry visa status before leaving. This helps avoid travel problems.
Exit re-entry visa is an important travel document for employees, workers, people who have family members, and domestic workers who need to leave Saudi Arabia and return within a set time. It is also required for residents who plan to travel and come back before their visa expires.

Method 1: Check via Absher
Absher is the easiest way to check your exit re-entry visa.
Steps:
1. Go to the Absher portal and log in with your account details.
2. Select the "Workers" category.
3. Click on "Inquiries."
4. Choose "Exit/Re-Entry Visa Status."
5. Enter your iqama number (mandatory), then passport number or visa number. Enter the above Image code.

Method 2: Check via Muqeem
In 2025, Muqeem started requiring a login to check visa validity.
Steps:
1. Register on Muqeem at vv.muqeem.sa/#/registration using:
➤ Iqama number
➤ Date of birth
➤ Mobile number
2. Log in at vv.muqeem.sa/#/login with your username and password.
3. Go to the "Visa Validity" service.
4. Select "Exit Re-Entry Visa."
5. Enter your iqama number.
6. Verify by choosing one option:
🔹 Visa number
🔹 Passport number
🔹 Full name
🔹 Date of birth
🔹 Iqama expiry date
🔹 Visa issue or validity date
7. Submit your request to instantly view and print your visa details.
After checking your visa validity, you will see:
✓ Visa status (valid or expired)
✓ Visa type and number
✓ Visa duration
✓ Issue date
✓ Return before date
✓ Whether you are inside or outside Saudi Arabia
Key Tip:

The following are the conditions for issuing an Exit/Re-Entry Visa in Saudi Arabia:
✅ Sponsor and sponsoree status must be active—not reported dead, absent, or with an Istiqdam violation.
✅ All traffic fines for the sponsoree must be paid.
✅ No visa cancellation penalty should exist for either a sponsor or a sponsoree.
✅ The sponsoree must not have another valid visa already issued.
✅ The sponsoree must be inside Saudi Arabia when the visa is issued.
✅ The sponsoree’s passport must be valid for at least 90 days.
✅ Return to KSA date must be at least 7 days before iqama expiry.
✅ For the single visa duration in days option, iqama validity must be visa duration + 90 days.
✅ For the "Return to KSA date option," the selected date is the last date to return to Saudi Arabia.
✅ If the Gregorian date and Hijri date differ, the Gregorian date will be used.
✅ Fingerprint enrollment is required for all male and female sponsorees aged 15 and above.

✅ If an employee leaves with an exit/re-entry visa and does not return, they will be removed from the employees’ list 60 days after visa expiry.
✅ If an exit/re-entry visa expires, the sponsor or employer can extend it online through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.
