The Misk Foundation manages the museum, which is located on the balcony of the Clock Tower, the highest point in Makkah.

4 floors of the museums at the Makkah clock tower:
1. On the first level, you'll find exhibits that go into the Mecca Clock's background, construction, and the cutting-edge technology that goes into keeping the time.
2. On the second level, you will discover artifacts relating to the measurement of time, including sundials, water clocks, and contemporary mechanical clocks.
3. On the third level, you will find out all about the solar system and its relationship with the moon and earth. You'll learn about solar and lunar eclipses and how the lunar calendar is used to determine Islamic holidays.
