The box office for Saudi films brings in SR100 million in 2025


The rapid expansion of Saudi Arabia's film industry and the increasing confidence of Saudi audiences in domestic productions have resulted in over SR100 million in box office earnings since the start of 2025. Most Viewed: Saudi Arabia issues new rules for fine dining restaurants

The Saudi Film Commission reports that out of all the films released in Saudi Arabia this year, eight local productions grossed over 19%.

Shabab Al-Bomb 2, Hobal, Al-Zarfa, Is'af, Fakhr Al-Suwaidi, Leil Nahar, Saifi, and Tashwish were among them.

During the week of July 13-19, Saudi cinemas sold a total of SR26 million in tickets.

Al-Zarfa, a Saudi film, came in second with SR22.6 million, behind the American film F1: The Movie, which took first place with SR26.3 million. Trending: Saudi Arabia approves new low-cost national carrier with HQ in Dammam

In third place, with SR7.7 million, was Superman, while in fourth place, with SR3.5 million, was the Egyptian film Ahmed and Ahmed.
