Four new cases of Coronavirus, Raising to Total 15, Saudi Arabia suspends Travel to 9 Countries

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced 4 new cases of novel coronavirus (Covid-19), Raising the total number to 15. The country suspended its travel by air and sea between the Kingdom and 9 countries to prevent the spread of the disease. The 4 new cases includes a Saudi citizen, 2 Bahrainis and an American. Before this, Authorities of Saudi Arabia suspended travel for Saudi Nationals and expatriates to the Bahrain, Egypt, Italy, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, South Korea, Syria and United Arab Emirates (UAE). - From the 4 new cases of Covid-19, The first one was a Saudi National, who is related to previous case in Qatif, The 2nd and 3rd are Bahraini women, who came from Iraq on their way to Bahrain, the 4th case is a United States national, who was returing Saudi Arabia through Philippines and Italy.




- All first 3 cases were isolated and kept in a isolation ward in Qatif region, while the US National is in Riyadh hospital isolation ward. Before this, Saudi Arabia calls all the Egypt, Lebanon, South Korea and Italy arrivals to isolate themselves in home for 2 weeks.

- The suspension of travel to 9 countries is a latest measure taken by the health authorities in the Kingdom to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. Yesterday, The Ministry of Education calls for the closure of all public and private schools, universities and educational institutions until further notice.
