At a joint news conference with Sergey Lavrov of Russia's foreign ministry, he stated, "We count on US President Donald Trump's leadership to achieve a final solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict."
He stressed that Riyadh is seeking nonviolent resolutions to the Iranian problem and that the kingdom does not support military action.
The Saudi foreign minister's visit, which started on Thursday, is a reflection of the continuing diplomatic engagement between Riyadh and Moscow in light of the increasingly volatile regional and global situations.
He said Russia has a major role in many delicate matters in the area and lauded the recent agreement between Russia and the Kingdom on the Palestinian issue.

Sergei Lavrov, Russia's foreign minister, stated that Russia and Saudi Arabia hold the same views on the situation in Gaza.
Lavrov stated that Russia is hoping Saudi Arabia would attend the first Russian-Arab Summit in Moscow in October.
Lavrov also announced that on September 11, the 8th ministerial meeting for the "Russia-GCC Strategic Dialogue" will be held in Sochi, as reported by Russia's Sputnik news agency.
During a joint press conference with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Russian FM said that Russia and Saudi Arabia intend to maintain cooperation inside the OPEC+ framework.
Lavrov welcomed Saudi Arabia's decision to attend the 29th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum as a Guest of Honor, noting that this year also commemorates the centennial of diplomatic ties between Russia and the Kingdom, a milestone reflecting the two countries' growing friendship.
