NCM Warns of Cold Weather, Rain, and Dust in Several Saudi Regions

The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has announced that Saudi Arabia will see cold weather at night and in the early morning during the mid-year school break of 1447 AH.

This cold weather is expected mainly in the northern regions and the southwestern highlands. In some areas, fog and frost may also form.

According to the NCM, there is a chance of rainfall toward the end of this week in several regions. These include Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Hail, Makkah, and Madinah. Lower temperatures and increased cloud cover may accompany the rain. Trending: Saudi Arabia arrests 18,836 violators of Residency, Labor and Border regulations within one week

The center also reported that surface winds will be active during the daytime. These winds may raise dust and sand in parts of Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Hail, Makkah, and Madinah.

The effects of strong winds may spread to Qassim, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, resulting in diminished horizontal visibility.

The National Center for Meteorology advised citizens and residents to take precautions and consistently track weather updates and warnings, especially in areas expected to experience the impact.

The organization spoke about the importance of consistently monitoring daily weather reports via its official website and verified social media profiles. Most Viewed: Guide to request Absher Travel service
