Saudi Arabia detains 37 in high-profile case, including ministry officials

An official source at the Ministry of Interior confirmed that six ministry employees were among them. Two representatives from the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of the National Guard, and one from the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Health were arrested.
Authorities took into custody a further 28 Saudi nationals, 5 Syrian nationals, 2 Ethiopian border security violators, 1 Yemeni, and 1 expatriate from Yemen.
Authorities discovered that the illegal networks were involved in the buying and selling of restricted substances and their medically regulated tablet forms.

Following all necessary legal procedures, the authorities identified and referred the individuals to the Public Prosecution.
