Saudi Arabia coordinates Iranian Hajj pilgrims' return safely via Arar land port

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia has set up a special operations room to monitor the conditions and welfare of Iranian Hajj pilgrims at all times while they are in Makkah and Madinah. Recommend: Saudi Arabia and Egypt to build Moses Bridge over Red Sea, linking two continents

This program is in response to orders from Saudi Arabia's King Salman and Crown Prince to ensure the well-being of Iranian pilgrims until they are able to return home safely.

In order to guarantee that the 76,000 Iranian pilgrims received consistent, superior care during their stay in the kingdom, the ministry announced that its staff had conducted a thorough evaluation of the services offered to them.

In response to demands from the Iranian side in charge of pilgrim affairs, the ministry has collaborated closely with the appropriate Saudi authorities to design a comprehensive departure plan.

All aspects of their return, including logistics and transportation, will run smoothly according to the plan. Most Viewed: Baby born in Arafat during Hajj 2025

The proposal calls for Iranian pilgrims to fly domestically from Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport and Madinah's Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport to Arar Airport.

Once they reach the recently built Arar land port, they will continue their journey to Iran on the land.

Friday was the official start of the phased departure. Teams from the ministry are still present to provide direct assistance and ongoing support to the pilgrims, ensuring their safe and dignified return. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Telegram
