Saudi Arabia announces Eid Al-Adha holidays for Private and non-Profit sectors

The holidays will begin on Thursday, June 5, with Arafat Day, and conclude on Sunday, June 8.

The Ministry of Human Resources stressed the need to consider the scenarios of overlap that are outlined in Article 24 of the executive laws of the Saudi Labor Law to guarantee that the holiday is carried out in accordance with the laws that have been put into place.

It was declared on Tuesday by the Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia that the event known as Standing at Arafat, which is the culmination of the annual pilgrimage known as Hajj, will take place on Thursday, June 5. Following the observation of the crescent moon on Tuesday evening, the Supreme Court announced that the first day of Dhul Hijjah is Wednesday, May 28, which is the first day of the month.
