During his visit, the minister toured the facility's working areas, which included the call reception hall, dispatch room, and video monitoring center.
In addition, he introduced a new "incident documentation" tool that aims to improve response times and overall service quality by letting users upload geolocated photos and videos when reporting incidents.
To improve reaction times and streamline cooperation among security authorities, the 911 center in Madinah unites the operations of 28 emergency and service institutions in the region. As part of it, numerous government agencies are involved, such as the Saudi Electricity Company, Madinah Municipality, the Red Crescent Authority, and the Ministries of Health, Transportation, Human Resources and Social Development, Environment, and Agriculture.
