Four individuals, all of Indonesian nationality, were arrested by the Medina police for deception and fraud. The suspects were accused of tricking unsuspecting victims into slaughtering sacrificial animals in return for money. All four residents faced legal action upon their arrest, which led to their referral to the Public Prosecution.
The Public Security Department issued a warning to the public, urging them not to fall for fraudulent social media ads that claim to accomplish the Hajj pilgrimage on behalf of others, provide transportation, sell Hajj bracelets, secure and distribute sacrificial animals for the pilgrims, and host other similar schemes.

Individuals located in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Madinah Al-Munawwarah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province should call 911, while those in other parts of the Kingdom should call 999; additionally, the authority urged everyone to adhere to the Hajj rules and directions.
