Speaking at a government press conference about Hajj preparations for 2025, Al-Dosari mentioned that the holy sites, Madina and Makkah, had more than 5,000 telecommunications towers.

He went on to say that over 4,000 engineers and technicians are offering Hajj services and that Saudi Arabia has used AI to control crowds and ensure the safe transportation of pilgrims.

The Saudi Arabian Minister of Media has confirmed that the country is making full use of its technological resources to build a strong digital infrastructure in preparation for the Hajj.

He brought attention to the fact that the Hajj is a worldwide event that the kingdom uses to demonstrate its commitment to organizing and progressing every year.

The minister clarified by saying that pilgrims can use the Makkah Road Initiative to get from any airport in the world straight to Makkah. As of yesterday, Sunday, 250,000 pilgrims had arrived from outside the kingdom via the Makkah Road Initiative.

According to him, "the Supreme Hajj Committee, headed by the Minister of Interior, is working meticulously to ensure the highest quality of services provided to the Guests of God."
