Nine more routes will be operational as part of the City Bus Network project, increasing the total number of routes to fifteen. These routes will serve the densest regions and neighborhoods in Madinah. Trending: Saudi police arrested an expat for engaging in immoral acts at a massage center

The Madinah Development Authority, which manages the project's operations, oversees a network of 177 buses that transport beneficiaries to over 455 primary and secondary stops across 639 kilometers of routes.

There are several bus stops on various routes in Madina City, including 6 stops at the route between Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport and the Prophet's Mosque, 33 stops between Meeqa and Haramain High Speed Rail, 52 stops at Al Faisaliah and Mudhainib, 29 at Sayyid al-Shuhada Square and Al Aliyah, and 37 at the Al Qaswa and Khalidiyah routes. Beneficiaries can access the routes' services at any time of day or night.

Ten other routes also provide services for 22 hours a day within the Madinah Bus Network, including 20 stations on the Holy Quran Printing Press - Al-Khandaq route, 39 stations on the Al-Faisaliyah - Miqat route, 30 stations on the Jabal A’ir - Al-Duaitha route, 12 stations on the Miqat - Industrial Cities route. Also 16 stops on the Mahzur - Bustan Al-Safiyah route, 31 stations on the King Fahd District - Quba Mosque route, 56 stations on the Shuran - Al-Arid district route, 29 stations on the Al-Mub’ath - Al-Oyoun route, 44 stations on the Airport District - Al-Aliyah route, in addition to 22 similar stations serving beneficiaries on the Al-Aliyah - Al-Qaswa route.

The Madinah Bus Project has been running for three years now, and in that time it has helped improve transportation projects and the flow of traffic on Madinah's main streets, both of which are goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

Additionally, it has helped lessen pollution from car exhaust fumes. Improving the service's operational performance during Ramadan has made it easier for its fleet of well-designed buses to transport worshippers and visitors to and from the Prophet's Mosque via round-the-clock shuttle services, benefiting those in need.
