As part of its digital and technical offerings, Jawazat has introduced the Visitor's Digital ID service for visitors, Saudi expats, and nationals who are legally resident in the Kingdom.
This Digital ID Card service will cover tourists, investors, and family members visiting the Kingdom. Travelers entering Saudi Arabia on a visitor's visa will find the Visitor's Digital ID to be a useful tool for traveling to the country and making purchases. A unique border number will be assigned to each foreign national entering Saudi Arabia with a visit visa.
All ports in the Kingdom, whether on land, sea, or air, can activate the service for visitors. It works by using the entry fingerprint and the visitor's data, which includes his identity (name, photo, and border number). All that's needed is a digital document in the visitor's account or a Saudi mobile number; either can be activated at the port or after arrival. The procedure for inquiring about the Digital Visitor Card in Absher is as follows:
1. Visit Absher's "Digital Visitor Card service."
