Saudi Arabia to increase Paksitan's Labor Manpower quota

Saudi Arabia accepted a request of Pakistan for an increased share of the labor force in the country for multi billion dollars projects of New Taif city development.




Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan's Special Assistant on HRD (Human Resource Development) revealed that "We asked the Saudi Labor minister on increasing a larger quota for Pakistani manpower for the New Taif city projects".

- The labor minister of Saudi Arabia agreed and promised to set up a proper mechanism for it, He said The Pakistani manpower will play a big role in the project and that his leadership also asked for this.




- Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have formed working groups to develop procedures for this transfer of manpower to the Kingdom. The working group will first connect the online recruitment websites and then will hire the numbers to process the manpower.

- The New Taif city project aims to build a new airport in the city and establish a technical oasis, residential areas, a University and an industrial city, so there is demand to hire lot of skilled workers the local manpower is not enough for this mega project.
