VISITORS FROM 80 COUNTRIES ATTENDED FORMULA-E EVENT IN RIYADH USING E-VISA

Saudi Arabia sets a milestone in its first move after opening its borders for International visitors beside Hajj and Umrah visa,  As per the General sports Authority more than 1000 foreign visitors attended Formula E in Riyadh's AdDiriyah using the new electronic visa system 'Sharek'. There is a huge demand for 'e-Visa' of Saudi Arabia, which will be studied and built upon based on the success achieved in the Riyadh's Formula-E event which attracted many foreign visitors said the Vice President of the General Sports Authority to AlArabiya news. - Visitors also visit some of the Saudi Arabia's cultural and historical sites, as well as desert, which is a new move that is likely to further boost the Kingdom's economy and the tourism.




- The list of eligible countries for electronic visa is not yet finalized, but as per the recent announcement it will be available for the citizens of United States, Schengen holders, Australia, Japan, Korea, South Africa, Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan, more countries will be added in the list soon. - The electronic visa application only takes a few minutes to complete online, There are only some basic requirements that candidates must meet to make sure that each section of the online application is completed as accurate as possible, so that you will not need to go the Saudi embassy or consulate.



- Once the e-Visa approved, The visitor will only need to print a copy of the application in order to submit it to the authorities upon arrival. See Also : Exit and not return status is now automatic in Saudi Arabia
