MINISTRY OF LABOR CONFIRMS THE NEWS OF CHANGE IN DEPENDENT FEE IS NOT TRUE

The Ministry of Labor and Social Development confirms that it is not correct what has been shared on the social media about any changes in the expat levy and dependent fee. Recommend : Authorities restricted expatriate engineers from hiring who have below 5 years of experience


The authorities have denied the reports of social media, which claims there are new plans to revoke dependent fee, Labor Ministry's official twitter account tweets that the information is far from the truth. Read : 71% expats to lose jobs in Saudi Arabia

- This is not the first time where such rumors attracted expatriates living in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and on the next day itself authorities rejected it.




- As per the scheduled plan, dependent fee on each expatriate family member is 200 Saudi riyals from June 2018 and 300 SR per dependent from 1st July 2019 and 400 Saudi riyals per month on each dependent from 1st July 2020. See Also : Important news for Indian passport holders
