SAUDI ARABIA WITNESSES INCREASE IN NUMBER OF INTERNATIONAL TOURIST ARRIVALS
The Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) revealed that the number of foreign tourist arrivals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reached 2.3 million in the year 2018, a growth rate of 21.2% over the year 2017. Trending : Traveling to other Saudi cities on Umrah visa is allowed now
The report also claimed that Kingdom's income from the tourist arrivals for the summer of 2018, excluding religious arrivals, amounted to about 8.7 billion Saudi riyals, a growth rate of 15.9%. Recommend : Makkah to Madina train ticket cost
- The report also noted that the eastern region topped the list with most welcoming destinations for tourists by nearly 45%, followed by Riyadh region with 27%, and Makkah region by about 16 percent.

- The report mentioned that the number of tourist departures reached 9.4 million, a growth rate of 7.4% over the year 2017.
